To clear up any confusion by today's press for web followers. The Walk for Alison officially ends tonight at Ormlie Lodge, Thurso. George organised a dance in Wick for Friday 3rd June in Wick, so he has decided to walk that distance as an extra for people on the Wick side to join.

To mark the end of George and Dorothys 'Walk the Walk for Alison' appeal, we are hosting a Charity Dance in the Dounreay Club, Wick, music by Radioactive, everyone welcome.

A Special Brewery day has been donated by Skinners Brewery of Truro, (brewers of the famous Cornish Knocker Real Ale) and will be auctioned on e-bay during the next 3 weeks.
|

During a well attended and enjoyable evening held at Luppitt Village Hall a cheque for £1225.00 was presented to George, Jean, Judy and Carolyn, also presented a Teddy Bear Mascot as a good luck emblem for the Walk for Alison.

More funds have been received since the evening, we have now topped the £1300.00 mark, with other activities still in the pipeline. More >>

The charity car wash was held in Wick on Saturday 31st April by Gary, Moira Sinclair, Davie, Sandy and Robert Dunbar. Another suuccessful days fundraising

Euan Foubister (Alison's nephew) is doing a sponsored slim in aid of the Walk the Walk for Alison appeal. There is a prize for the person guessing correctly how much Euan shall loose in 6 weeks.

Two local girls Aimee Foubister (14) and Rebecca Stevenson (13) have successfully completed the two mile sponsored swim. The girls pictured left after the swim, raised a fantastic sum of £780 in aid of Walk the Walk for Alsion appeal.
